I just saw a news article where singer Jessie J was announcing she has cancer and is doing treatment

And I was like "oh no not again :("

And ...... apparently the memory I have of her announcing it ten years ago was wrong???

Like she literally already had cancer, and shaved her head, and took time off of one of those talent panel shows, and then when she came back, she was glad to be back judging again, and her head was shaved, and she said something about still feeling beautiful even though her hair was gone.

But this apparently didnt happen????????

This announcement is the first announcement she's ever made, ever, about cancer

And no, I'm not confusing it with some other mental health thing she's gone through because I literally remember the shaved head because of chemotherapy

And, now I have to spend all day searching up details of female singers who've had cancer, hoping that I've misremembered something .... I don't even know O_O
